Okay, so, picture this: I’ve got this space, and I’ve always wanted a really cool, multi-purpose kind of court. You know, something where I could play around, maybe some volleyball, maybe other stuff. But I didn’t want some boring, typical surface. I wanted something… different.

I started digging around, looking at options, and that’s when I stumbled upon this idea: rubber volleyball court layered over beech wooden flooring. It seemed like a sweet combination – the classic look of wood with the bounce and give of rubber.

The Messy Beginning

First, I had to get my hands on the materials. Finding good quality beech wood wasn’t too hard, there’s a lumber yard nearby that I often * rubber volleyball material? That took a bit more searching, ended up ordering it online after some asking around.

Then came the fun part – actually doing it! I cleared out the entire space, which, let me tell you, was a workout in itself. I made sure the subfloor was super level, can’t have a wonky court. It’s very import that you must do that,or it will be bad.I used a leveling compound in some spots, let it dry, and sanded it down. Basic prep work, really.

Building it Up

Laying down the beech wood was pretty straightforward. I’d done some flooring before, so I had the basic idea. Started in one corner, worked my way across, making sure everything was snug and tight. Used some good quality adhesive and nails – didn’t want this thing shifting around * can find how to install the wooden floor on *’s no diffcult.

  • First step: Get the wood down.
  • Second step: Make sure it’s all level and secure.

Then add a layer of rubber pad on top of the wood, then that’s the rubber volleyball surface.I do it by myself.

This part was a little trickier. I had these big rolls of the rubber material, and it was heavy! I unrolled it, let it relax for a day to get rid of any kinks, and then carefully started gluing it down to the * is some heavy work.

The Finishing Touches

Once the rubber was down, I trimmed the edges, made it all look neat and tidy. I even added a border around the whole thing, just to give it a finished *,I draw lines of the volleyball area.

Honestly, it took longer than I expected, a few weekends of solid work. But, man, looking at it now? Totally worth it. It’s got this amazing feel underfoot – soft and bouncy, but still firm enough to play on. And it looks fantastic, the wood grain peeking through the rubber, it’s just… cool.

I’ve already had a few friends over to try it out, and they’re loving it. Volleyball, obviously, but we’ve also messed around with other games. It’s become this awesome, multi-purpose play area, and I’m pretty stoked about it.

It may took me a few day,but I am very happy that I can get a new place to have fun.
