For every professional basketball venue, the quality of the floor directly determines the upper limit of the game experience and the safety guarantee for athletes. Naibu, as a leading brand focused on indoor basketball court wood flooring, has always taken “creating a professional-grade sports ground that truly fits the characteristics of basketball” as its core development concept, and has been deeply cultivated in this field for many years. Unlike ordinary civilian wood flooring, Naibu’s products are not simply processed from solid wood, but undergo a full-process customized development from raw material selection to finished product delivery, strictly following the professional sports venue construction standards.

The first step of Naibu’s product quality control starts from the source of raw materials. The brand has established long-term and stable cooperation relationships with high-quality oak and maple producing areas in North America, and each batch of raw wood has undergone strict screening before entering the factory. Naibu’s professional team will strictly check the growth years, wood density, and grain uniformity of each piece of wood, and eliminate all raw materials that do not meet the standards. This strict raw material screening mechanism lays a solid foundation for the subsequent excellent performance of the floor. After the raw wood enters the factory, it will go through a two-stage constant-temperature and constant-humidity drying process that lasts for more than 40 days. This process can precisely control the moisture content of the wood within the range of 6%-8%, which is highly adapted to the indoor environment of basketball courts in most regions, effectively avoiding the common problems of wood flooring such as expansion with moisture, shrinkage with dryness, warping and deformation during long-term use.

In terms of structural design, Naibu indoor basketball court wood flooring adopts a unique multi-layer composite shock-absorbing structure. The top layer is made of 4mm thick high-hardness wear-resistant solid wood panel, which not only presents a clear and natural grain, but also has extremely high scratch resistance, which can withstand the frequent friction of basketball shoes and the impact of the basketball for a long time, and maintain a long-term bright and flat appearance. The middle layer is made of high-density elastic keel and high-elastic shock-absorbing pad made of special material. This structure can absorb more than 90% of the instantaneous impact force generated when athletes jump and land, effectively reducing the reaction force on the athletes’ knees, ankles and waist, greatly reducing the risk of sports injuries such as ligament sprains and meniscus wear. The bottom layer uses a moisture-proof and anti-corrosion balanced layer treated with special process, which can isolate the moisture on the ground to the greatest extent, ensure that the internal structure of the floor is not eroded by moisture, and extend the overall service life of the floor.

In the production and processing stage, Naibu has introduced a full set of imported precision production equipment, and each processing link is equipped with a special person in charge of quality inspection. From the precision cutting of the board, the precise opening of the tenon and groove, to the spraying of the professional sports-grade PU surface paint, every process has strict process standards. The PU surface paint specially selected by Naibu has been tested by professional institutions, and its friction coefficient is stably controlled between 0.4-0.6. This friction value can not only ensure that athletes will not slip due to too smooth the floor when they make sharp turns and sudden stops, but also avoid the situation that the shoes are too “sticky” to affect the movement rhythm due to excessive friction. This just-right grip performance allows every player to give full play to their technical movements such as crossover dribble, emergency stop jumper and layup without being restricted by the floor conditions.
