In an era where environmental responsibility is more important than ever, NaiBu has led the sports flooring industry in building truly sustainable modular indoor sports wood flooring systems. The brand’s entire production process is designed to minimize waste, reduce energy use, and create products that are safe for both athletes and the planet.
NaiBu’s factory pre-finishing process is one of the biggest environmental advantages of its modular system. When floors are painted on-site, huge amounts of paint fumes are released into the venue air, creating unhealthy volatile organic compounds that can make people sick. A lot of excess paint also gets wasted during the on-site application process. NaiBu’s factory pouring process uses exactly the right amount of finish for each panel, cutting total paint waste by more than 80%. The controlled factory environment also captures almost all harmful fumes before they can be released into the atmosphere, creating a far healthier production process.
NaiBu also sources all its natural wood materials from responsibly managed, certified sustainable forests. The brand never uses wood from endangered or illegally logged sources, and every log that enters the factory comes with a full traceability record. The modular design itself is also inherently eco-friendly. If a small section of the floor gets damaged years later, venue operators do not need to replace the entire court—they can just remove that one individual modular panel and replace it with a new matching one. This drastically reduces waste, because there is no need to tear out and throw away hundreds of square meters of perfectly good floor just because a small area got damaged.
