The process starts with a full site survey, where the installation team uses laser levels to map every single uneven spot on the existing concrete subfloor. Any area with a deviation of more than 2 millimeters across 2 meters is leveled out with self-leveling cement, until the entire base surface is perfectly flat. Next, the team lays down NB’s 0.5-millimeter thick full-seal moisture barrier, with every seam taped completely airtight to stop any ground moisture from ever rising up to the wood floor.
